Dusty the Cat needs a home
Dusty is a 2 yr old precious boy. He was adopted previously by a person that decided to put him outside when she moved into an apartment. Not being an outdoor cat he was hit by a car and attacked by an animal, possibly a raccoon. A Heartland Foster found him and took him to the vet. He was dehydrated, his body was bruised and his jaw was hurt. Dusty had an infection that was raging through his system that required an extensive surgery to stop it from killing him. One more day as an “Outdoor Cat” and he would not have survived. After nearly a month of recuperating and antibiotics he was able to walk on all four legs again. After another month he was able to jump, he may not ever have the ability to jump like a cat his age should be able to jump again. After all this sweet guy has been through he still has a wonderful disposition. Dusty loves to be petted and given treats and he has a loud soothing purr! He has wonderful manners and the face of an angel. He gets along well with his foster kitty friends and plays with the kittens in his foster home as if they were his. He likes people, he likes to lie in the window and let the sun shine on him. It is time for Dusty to find his real forever home and family, one that will love him and appreciate him and treat him the way he deserves to be treated, he will let you know everyday how happy is to belong.
